Our aerospace client in Indianapolis, IN needed to expand their test facilities by adding additional test cells.
Mechanical design consisted of piping plans for the installation of new fuel piping, compressed air, and underground storm sewer piping. These plans indicated tie-ins, pipe support locations, and provided pipe support details. Installation details for a wall mounted exhaust fan were given along with a specification for purchase.
Electrical design was provided for the installation of new gear, lighting, and communications. Power plans provided wiring and conduit details between the test cell, electrical gear, and exhaust fan. Grounding for electrical gear was also represented on power plans. Lighting plans with fixture specifications, light and switch locations, and circuit identification were detailed on drawings.
Dynamic Engineering Design coordinated work with civil, structural, and architectural engineers for the design and installation of the new test cells.
