Our Aerospace client needed project management support to set-up and implement a maintenance plan for pressure vessels and safety relief valves.
Dynamic Engineering Design prepared a maintenance schedule for over 200 relief valves in accordance with the National Board recommendations and based on the service conditions of each valve. Services included compressed air, water, oil, nitrogen, argon, carbon dioxide, and steam.
Dynamic Engineering Design coordinated required outages and scheduled the maintenance actions which include replacing valves, in service testing of valves (EVT – electronic valve testing), and on-site bench testing by a certified valve repair (VR) corporation.
Dynamic Engineering Design was also responsible for record keeping, which included the following:
- verification of completed maintenance
- updating the maintenance schedule
- reporting completed maintenance to local Boiler and Pressure Vessel Authority
