Our chemical client located near Chicago needed to install new solids processing equipment within an existing 60 ft. tall structure.
Dynamic Engineering Design provided a three-dimensional structural analysis and building code review for the existing structure. Major changes were made to building bracing in order to accommodate the slope requirements of the new gravity drop chutes.
The equipment arrangement included a new bucket elevator, crusher, vibrating screener, gravity chutes, divert valves, and removable sections of material chutes.
The structural design included a new platform framing level to access the screener as well as stairs, ladders, and maintenance platforms to access other equipment.
