Our client at their Indiana facility, needed to install a new maintenance platform along the east side of the existing Pickle Line tank located in the Cold Mill building. The new platform was approximately 200 feet long and 3 feet wide.
Epoxy coated steel and stainless steel bolts were specified due to the high acid environment.
The piping design specified the valves be rotated to allow access from above. Field work was extensive in order to integrate the platform with existing equipment and piping.
