Our Chemical Manufacturing client needed to construct a new building at their existing facility to house a new chemical production line. The new production line would utilize corrosives, toxics, and oxidizers.
Dynamic Engineering Design started the project with a code study to determine occupancy classification, wall ratings, separation distances from existing buildings, exit requirements, and fire suppression requirements.
At the completion of the code study, Dynamic Engineering Design prepared bid packages, detailed design drawings, and specifications for the following disciplines:
- Site Grading and Drainage
- Building and Equipment Foundations and Slabs; including a specialized underslab containment liner
- Pre-Engineered Metal Building
Dynamic Engineering Design also assisted the bidding process for the selection of the installation contractor. This included a detailed bid package and scope of work, pre-bid meetings, and bid review.
